Come together with other professional women in our community. We are a blend of working professionals, entrepreneurs, women looking for opportunities, and women who simply enjoy being around other empowering women.
Have you ever stopped yourself from sharing an idea? Ever shared one and been quickly shot down? Has anyone listened to a concept you developed and encouraged you to implement it?
Studies show that in strong communities, ideas are honored. In our businesses, schools, not-for-profits, communities, families, and spiritual lives, new concepts can be prematurely judged and innocently discouraged. We need spaces where innovative ideas are conceptualized, optimized, and implemented into reality. Since becoming certified in Simplexity® problem solving, I have seen ideation in collaborative spaces produce high-quality ideas that promotes individuals — even typically silent parties — to be a part of the process. Idea generating in collaborative spaces produces high-quality ideas and allows everyone to be part of the process. As a passionate idea generator, I cannot wait to share Simplexity® – a process you can use to creatively solve problems and allow ideas to flourish.
About our Presenter:
Growing up the daughter of a farmer and now a farmer’s wife who is living in a small, rural Indiana community, Stephanie learned the value of relationships and how critical connections can be to life in the small town she grew up in and beyond. As a graduate of Ball State, with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, using her life’s experiences, she connects those who cross her path with resources for success as Ball State’s Graduate School Director of Recruitment and Enrollment.
Stephanie is an idea generator and adores helping others explore new ideas. She is a Basadur Certified Facilitator and Integrator. Stephanie is working to make Simplexity® Thinking a way of life for the Graduate School and the students we serve.
